Amy serves as a development assistant for the Athletic Department’s Development Office. Her major duties include supporting the department with stewardship and fundraising efforts including the planning and execution of donor events and communications. She also manages the Kellner Club reservation process.
Amy holds a BS degree from the University of Wisconsin in Education with a major in Biology. She also received an MS degree from Purdue University in Educational Psychology. Amy worked for a year in the K-12 education field before taking an Educational Marketing Representative position with IBM Corp, where she worked with schools across the Midwest for 10 years.
Amy has been with the UW Athletic Department since July, 2009. Her husband, Jack, played basketball for the UW from 1980-1985. Amy and Jack live in the Middleton area and have four children – Hannah, Holly, Caroline, and Jonathan. The Hippen children are involved in competitive swimming and hockey.
