Jay Bradbury joined the Academic Services staff in January of 2008. He works with student-athletes in football, men's & women's track, and wrestling.
After high school Jay moved from Milwaukee to Madison to attend the UW and before graduating decided to make Madison his home. He received a B.S. in History and Economics and a teaching certification in secondary education. Later he went back to school for a M.S. in Special Education with an emphasis on Learning Disabilities.
Prior to joining the Academic Services staff, Jay worked at La Follette High School in Madison in the Special Education Department. At La Follette Jay taught reading skills and strategies, and he supported students with learning challenges with their classroom curriculum. In addition to his teaching, Jay supervised UW- Madison students during their student teaching semesters. In 2003 he earned a Cooperating Personal Award from the UW-Madison's School of Education.
Jay lives on the east side of Madison with his wife Adrienne.
