Jacqueline Boscacci:  Welcome to the game day blog, we are live at Ridder Arena, excited for No. 1 Wisconsin and No. 2 Minnesota to get underway.

Jacqueline Boscacci:  The Badgers have no problem getting ready for this game. The rivlary is a strong friendly one and everyone is excited to see these two teams matchup, expecially when they are No. 1 and No. 2

Jacqueline Boscacci:  Speaking of a friendly rivalry. Meghan Duggan and UM assistant coach Natalie Darwitz were hanging out before the game. Duggan and Darwitz have played together with Team USA, and Darwitz was a former Gopher and is a two-time Olympian

Jacqueline Boscacci:  The second game, was a comebcak win for the Badgers. In the third period the Badgers were down by 1 and came back to win 2-1
