Swan's second chance starts tonight

Brian Lucas (Assistant Director of Athletic Communications)

Former UW wide receiver Luke Swan is one of 12 football players competing for a training camp spot with the Dallas Cowboys in Spike TV's new reality Series "4th and Long." The show is hosted by former Cowboy and Hall of Fame wide receiver Michael Irvin. The season premiere airs tonight (Monday) at 9 p.m. CT on Spike TV.

We caught up with Swan a couple weeks ago to get some of his thoughts on the show. He is one of 12 "finalists," six wide receivers and six defensive backs. The winner will be rewarded with an invite to Cowboys training camp this summer.

The show will air on Monday evenings at 9 p.m. CT. From the Spike TV schedule, it looks as though the premiere will re-air on Saturday at 9 p.m. and Sunday at 8 p.m. If you can't see the show, check back tomorrow for my blog which will have a full recap.

Good luck Luke!
